Wedding live streaming in Port Stephens

Port Stephens weddings are beach and headland weddings. Council permits ceremonies at a long list of foreshore sites, and almost none of them has a building, a power point or a network.

What makes Port Stephens different

Council permits ceremonies at Birubi Beach, Shoal Bay Beach, Little Beach, Dutchmans Beach, Fly Point Amphitheatre, the Native Flora Gardens, Pearson Park, Sunset Beach, Fingal Beach, Barry Park, Corlette Beach and Kingsley Beach. Every one of those is a stretch of sand or grass with no power and no wifi, and Nelson Bay Road from Salt Ash to Anna Bay, the road to several of them, is a nominated mobile blackspot in the federal program. We arrive self-contained: our own satellite connection, our own power, and a wind-protected microphone on the celebrant so the vows survive the sea breeze.

We cover Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Corlette, Salamander Bay, Soldiers Point, Fingal Bay, Anna Bay, Medowie, Raymond Terrace, Karuah, Tanilba Bay, Lemon Tree Passage, Seaham, Williamtown and the rest of the Port Stephens local government area. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in that area.

What we bring to every job

Starlink on every job

The stream runs on our own satellite connection, not the venue's wifi and not a mobile hotspot. Chapels, cemeteries, gardens and vineyards are exactly the places where reception fails, and we have removed that from the list of things you need to worry about.

The recording is guaranteed

We record locally on redundant media at the same time as we stream. If the internet drops, if the power goes out, if a viewer's connection fails, the recording is still made and you still receive it.

Blackmagic Design broadcast kit

Real cameras and a vision switcher, cut live between angles, with audio taken from the celebrant or the venue's own system. Not a phone on a tripod at the back of the room.

Quiet, and quick to book

We set up early, stay out of the way and pack down without interrupting anything. Funerals can be booked at a few days' notice, and the recording comes back to you quickly.

Common questions

Do you charge extra to travel to Port Stephens?

No. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in our service area.

Our venue has terrible reception. Is that a problem?

No, and it is the main reason couples call us. We bring our own Starlink satellite connection, so your ceremony stream never touches venue wifi or mobile data.

How do our guests watch?

One link, sent by you, opened on a phone, laptop or TV. No app and no account.

Do we get a recording as well as the live stream?

Yes. We record locally throughout, so you get the full ceremony even if something interrupts the live stream.

How far ahead should we book?

For Saturdays between September and April, as early as you can. Weekdays and off-peak dates are usually available at shorter notice.
