Wedding live streaming in Hunter Valley
Wine country is the biggest wedding market in the region and the hardest place in it to get a reliable stream out of. Nearly every venue is rural, and the ceremony is usually outdoors on a lawn or between vines, a long way from whatever router the venue owns.
What makes Hunter Valley different
Read the venues' own words before you plan to stream over wifi. A Wollombi retreat's FAQ page states that mobile reception is very limited and that internet speed can be a problem. A guest review featured on Mystwood's own site says there is no internet or phone reception. A farm stay in the same area warns that only Telstra and Optus work at all. Meanwhile the infrastructure that serves the main Pokolbin strip failed twice in July 2026, once nationally and once when a cable was cut on Broke Road, taking down fixed services on Oakey Creek Road and McDonalds Road, which is where several of the venues above sit. Easy Weddings, the largest wedding marketplace in the country, now tells couples marrying somewhere rural to have their videographer bring a backup connection rather than trusting venue wifi, and names Starlink specifically. We already do.
We cover Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Cessnock, Broke, Branxton, Greta, Kurri Kurri, Wollombi, Singleton, Nulkaba, Bellbird, Millfield and the surrounding wine country. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in that area.

What we bring to every job
Starlink on every job
The stream runs on our own satellite connection, not the venue's wifi and not a mobile hotspot. Chapels, cemeteries, gardens and vineyards are exactly the places where reception fails, and we have removed that from the list of things you need to worry about.
The recording is guaranteed
We record locally on redundant media at the same time as we stream. If the internet drops, if the power goes out, if a viewer's connection fails, the recording is still made and you still receive it.
Blackmagic Design broadcast kit
Real cameras and a vision switcher, cut live between angles, with audio taken from the celebrant or the venue's own system. Not a phone on a tripod at the back of the room.
Quiet, and quick to book
We set up early, stay out of the way and pack down without interrupting anything. Funerals can be booked at a few days' notice, and the recording comes back to you quickly.
Common questions
Do you charge extra to travel to Hunter Valley?
No. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in our service area.
Our venue has terrible reception. Is that a problem?
No, and it is the main reason couples call us. We bring our own Starlink satellite connection, so your ceremony stream never touches venue wifi or mobile data.
How do our guests watch?
One link, sent by you, opened on a phone, laptop or TV. No app and no account.
Do we get a recording as well as the live stream?
Yes. We record locally throughout, so you get the full ceremony even if something interrupts the live stream.
How far ahead should we book?
For Saturdays between September and April, as early as you can. Weekdays and off-peak dates are usually available at shorter notice.
Packages, pricing and what happens on the day are all on our main wedding live streaming page.
